COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT IN NORTHUMBERLAND
We believe that you should be involved in decisions about services which affect your life. This includes how we give information about our services and how we involve you in shaping and developing those services and improvements.
Community engagement is all about recognising that we need to involve you in what we do. We need to speak in a language that everyone can understand by cutting out jargon.
We need to tell you what our plans are and to listen to your ideas. And we need to be prepared to make adjustments, to show we listen and recognise that sometimes there are better ways of doing things.
