I would like to become Young Leader because I feel strongly about where I live and I feel proud to be part of a close-knit community and I would like to get involved to be able to make a difference that would benefit our community both now and in the future.

After four consecutive years as a school councillor I believe that the voice of the public is extremely important and I would act as the Publics Mouthpiece to shout out their opinions to all those who listen and even those who don't in order to make a difference.

  1. More choice in the curriculum, based on personal ability, and the opportunity to practice these skills in a real working environment.
  2. Make the government more aware that there are less available jobs and unemployment is on the increase in the area and formulate a plan to rectify the situation.

    is being safely disposed of.
  4. More money put into leisure, especially in Wansbeck and in particular Bedlington, which given the size of the town it has very few facilities for young people, eg sports, swimming, drama etc.
