Northumberland County Council People's Panel
Would you like the opportunity to get your opinion heard regularly?
Then join our People’s Panel!
What is the People’s Panel?
Our People’s Panel has been running since 2004 and has around 1000 members from all over the County. The panel receives four surveys a year from us either by post or by email and these are on a variety of different topics, for example the previous panel has taken part in surveys on the Fire and Rescue Service, accessing services and the Highways Service.
Every two years the panel is refreshed to allow new residents to join, and we are currently looking for new members.
What will I have to do?
Every three months, when your survey arrives, you will be asked to fill it in and return it to us by a certain date. If you choose to receive the survey by post, we will give you a freepost envelope to post it back to us. We are trying to encourage as many people as possible to take part electronically to reduce postage and printing costs.
Often Panel members are also invited to come together and be part of a focus group. This is where a small group of people take part in discussions on a certain topic and it gives us the opportunity to ask questions and get more detailed results than we get from a survey.
How can I join?
To join the panel, simply click on the link below which will take you to a form which you need to fill in. As soon as we receive your completed form, we will be in touch!
